Fiction
A few words on the stories you can find here: "Me" was the best received story when I was at Clarion - although half my class told me they couldn't make head or tails of it.
I decided to publish it for free during the whole Technowrench business, when the then president of the SFWA grumbled that people who put content online for free were undermining the market for everybody else.
"Passing the Test" was my first professional sale, to Farthing magazine edited by Wendy Bradley, and was shortlisted for the 2007 BSFA Award.
Tikuka Station was a novella I wrote for Clarion as well, and was published on Ficion, a French magazine.
"And This Also Has Been One of the Dark Places of the Earth" was my first sale to Strange Horizons.
They are all released under a Creative Commons licence, which means that you can read them, download them, exchange them, as long as you don't make money from it (including publishing it on a ads-bearing page) and include an attribution. A link back to its original location would also be appreciated.
